Software & Systems Login Guide

Purpose

Get every new Spartan Plumbing employee set up in all required systems on Day 1 or within the first week. This guide covers account setup for each platform.

Systems You Will Use

Slack (Team Communication)

  • Slack is our primary team communication tool — more important than email
  • You will be added to Slack by the office on your first day
  • Download the Slack mobile app (see Slack Mobile Tutorial card for setup)
  • Key channels you will be added to: your team channel, #general, #safety-incidents, and job-specific channels
  • Check Slack regularly throughout the day — important updates happen here

ServiceTitan (Job Management)

  • ServiceTitan is where jobs are booked, dispatched, invoiced, and documented
  • Your ServiceTitan account will be created by the office
  • You will receive training on ServiceTitan during your first two weeks
  • Always log into ServiceTitan at the start of your shift

Paylocity (HR & Payroll)

  • Paylocity replaced ADP as our HR and payroll platform
  • You will be set up in Paylocity during orientation
  • Use Paylocity to: clock in and out, view pay stubs, request PTO, update personal information, and view benefits
  • Payroll is posted on Mondays — review and approve by 8 AM the following day

Google Workspace (Email & Drive)

  • Your Spartan email will be set up by the office
  • Google Drive contains shared documents and resources
  • Check your email at least once daily

Other Tools

  • GoodLeap / Service Finance / Turns — financing platforms (sales and tech training covers these)
  • GeoTab — vehicle tracking (automatically installed in your truck, no setup needed)
  • Tradeshift — purchasing and supply orders (office-managed, techs submit requests)

Login Help

  • If you cannot access any system, contact the office first
  • Do not share your login credentials with anyone
  • Use strong, unique passwords for each system
  • If you forget a password, contact the office for a reset

Important Notes

  • Slack is the most critical system for daily operations — prioritize getting it set up and learning to use it
  • ServiceTitan training is part of your onboarding plan — you will not be expected to know it on Day 1
  • All systems should be accessible from your phone or iPad
