Overview
The 60-Day Skills Assessment for install technicians evaluates technical growth, job documentation quality, and readiness for independent job assignment. Conducted by Operations Manager around day 58–62.

Operations Manager. Josh Ferguson may join if there are performance concerns or exceptional performance to recognize.
Assessment Format
Section 1 — ServiceTitan Job Documentation Audit
Pull last 25 install jobs attributed to the tech:
- Photo compliance rate (target: 100%)
- Note completion rate (target: 100%)
- Any callbacks or rework traced to this tech's work
- Permit documentation complete on required jobs
Section 2 — Field Quality Assessment
Production Concierge or lead tech conducts a job-site quality review on an active job:
- Pipe strapping and support — correct intervals, approved hangers
- Pipe grade on drain lines — 1/4" per foot verified
- Connection quality — no visible concerns at inspection points
- CO test performed and documented on water heater jobs
Section 3 — Permit Knowledge Verification
Verbal check:
- Which job types require permits at Spartan?
- How is the permit application process initiated?
- What happens if a job is inspected and work does not pass?
- Who is responsible for scheduling the inspection?
Section 4 — 1:1 Development Conversation
- Review 30-day improvement areas — resolved?
- Efficiency on jobs — meeting estimated times?
- Career path discussion: specialization interests?
- Confirm 90-day targets and crew assignment timeline
