Weeks 2-4: Install Crew Ride-Along Phase

Overview

During Weeks 2–4, the new install tech rides with the lead install technician on full installation jobs. The goal is to absorb Spartan's quality standards, permit procedures, job communication process, and multi-step install workflow before performing any independent work.

Who Supervises

Ride-Along Objectives

By end of Week 4, the new tech must be able to:

  • Describe the Pre-Job Checklist & Material Staging process
  • Explain when a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is required and how to confirm it
  • Identify the permit requirements for common install job types
  • Describe the Spartan quality standards for pipe installation (strapping, level, approved materials)

  • Describe how to document an install job in ServiceTitan (photos, notes, project tracking)
